Sometimes, life happens and things go in way which are unexpected; unplanned deviances from some vague, undefined “normal”.
Sometimes, the power goes out at 8:30 in the morning. No Laundry can be done, no breakfast can be cooked on the now-dead electric stove. The refrigerator must be watched closely, to insure that no delicate foodstuffs are allowed to go bad.
Sometimes, the best answer is to take a breath, go sit on the porch and luxuriate in a glass of morning muscat.
(We did manage to get the power back on before the afternoon thunderstorms rolled in.)
